Runtime Manager

Bring your toolchains. Keep them local.

Install only the tools your projects need. OpenMind Studio resolves app-managed runtimes and passes their environment to terminals, tasks and Run Code.

Language ecosystem

Interpreters, compilers and local services.

The in-app Runtime Manager is the source of truth for available package versions and architecture support.

RustRust toolchainCargo and rustup workflowsDependencies and targets may require additional downloads.
FortrangfortranCompiler workflows; fortls where configuredLanguage-server features depend on the installed server and integration.
PascalFree PascalCompile and run workflowsCompiler support does not imply full language-server coverage.
AssemblyNASM / GASAssembly, linking and configured debugging toolsToolchain and target architecture must match the project.
MariaDB / phpMyAdminLocal database servicesDatabase controls and browser-based administrationInstall the database workload alongside the PHP stack.

Runtime packages, language servers and formatters are separate workloads. Availability depends on the app release and target architecture. Installed tools can work offline; downloading new packages requires a reachable source.

01

Choose a workload

Open Runtime Manager and select the interpreter, compiler or local service you need.

02

Install and verify

Let the app download and configure its local tools. Check installation status before opening a new terminal.

03

Open your project

Use Run Code, tasks or terminal commands with the selected toolchain. Install project dependencies as needed.
